Nikodem Gąsowski (b. 1997), Untitled, 2022

Born in 1997 in Warsaw, Poland. Graduated with honors from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts' sculpture department in 2021. He defended a diploma in sculpture in the studio of Prof. Andrzej Sołyga and a painting annex in the studio of Prof. Mariusz Woszczyński. He is a young member of the Warsaw District of the Association of Polish Artists. He is a co-founder of the artistic group Pawilon 5. He works on the conservation of tombstones in the historic Jewish cemetery at Powązki.
In addition to painting and sculpture, he is involved in music. He is a double bass player in the jazz project Maki Trio and a bass player in the alternative band Dłonie.
