Biography
Magdalena (previous art alias: Magdalena Libero), a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, received her master's degree in painting in 2012 in Prof. T. Kotkowska-Rzepecka's studio. In 2017, she received a master's degree in artistic printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk in the linocut studio of Prof. J. Akermann. She was awarded an honorable mention in the 7th edition of the Young Art Review "Fresh Blood" organized by Socato gallery in Wroclaw. Her paintings were presented at the final exhibition of the 27th National Youth Painting Review Promotions 2017 at the Art Gallery in Legnica. She won second place in the 14th International Autumn Art Salon organized by BWA Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. She received an honorable mention in the 2019 Eibisch Prize competition organized by the Franciszka Eibisch Foundation, Katarzyna Napiórkowska Art Gallery in Warsaw. In 2020, she received an honorable mention award in the 46th Winter Salon - Radom 2020 and an honorable mention in the 3rd National Painting Biennial Architectural Landscape in Bisztynek.
