Biography
Graduate of the High School of Fine Arts in Szczecin. In 2025 she defended her M.A. degree, specializing in graphic design, at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She was awarded a scholarship from the Minister of Education for 2023/2024 and 2024/2025, and in 2025 won a scholarship from the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship for those involved in artistic creation, dissemination of culture and care of historical monuments. She is the founder of the art collective Odruch, which has been active since 2024 and collaborates continuously with the Wozownia Art Gallery in Toruń. She has had three solo exhibitions and more than a dozen group exhibitions, including three collectives. The artist is mainly involved in painting, having explored it from an early age. Since her studies, she has also created digital posters, prints in workshop techniques, art objects, zines and works combining textile applications and embroidery. The main, constant motifs of Burnat's works are fantasy motifs bordering on the occult, existentialism, landscape and human-animal hybrids.
