Katherine MELZACKA (b. 1991), Invitation to Freedom, 2024

acrylic, canvas, 80 x 40 cm, signed p. d.: K.MELZACKA and on the reverse side

Katarzyna Melzacka has been fascinated with creating since she was a young girl.
She independently explored the secrets of painting and drawing, initially focusing on portraits, which she made with pencil and charcoal.
In earlier years, she created in the vein of impressionism now heading towards magic realism.
She mainly creates acrylic and oil paintings on canvas ground. Her current work is an attempt to capture fleeting emotions and moments of suspension, where reality merges with the unreal.
Each work is an invitation to reflect and pause for a moment, where the viewer can experience the meeting of two worlds.
The artist's works can be found in private collections in Europe, the United States and Canada, and one of her works was awarded in the American Art Award 2023 in the Impressionism: Still Life category.
