The most beautiful 1533 Elblag penny in our history.
Superb, especially considering that it is the oldest penny of this city, being the longest in circulation.
It was in 1533, in the third year of the Elblag mint under Sigismund the Old, that Elblag began minting pennies. Grosz, which were distinguished not only by the city's coat of arms, but above all by the absence of a royal portrait (as the only one among the city's mints).
Deep, centric minting. Beautiful mint surface.
A variety with a titulature ending in PRVS.
