This is not only a very rare quarter, but also a historically important type!
This is the first coin with the notation GROSSI GLOGOVI (Glogow's penny). The Glogow minting of Henry III (1273-1309) and his sons (1309-1316) focused on quarters. Many types were issued, most of which are very rare today.
Unlisted in many specialized studies.
Listed most likely for the first time at auctions.
Obverse: head of a prince with long hair, in front. In the rim: GROSSI x GLOGOVI x+.
Reverse: eagle with outspread wings, in front. In the rim: 13 tri-lobes.
Silver, diameter 19 mm, weight 1.33 g.
