Ghetto, October 10, 1943, Aluminum, unmarked variant, mint condition

An exquisite, perfectly preserved piece with a strong mint luster and pristine details, graded UNC by PCGS. NOT LISTED BY GDA. Similar to the variant - Deep Strikes (10/5a), BUT LATE PHASE, WITH AN UNDESCRIBED VERTICAL CRACK. An interesting detail is that the reverse die (denomination) is from the early phase of die 5a (without a crack at 3:30), while the obverse is from the late phase, where a very delicate but distinct crack appears extending all the way to the star.
