Polish. A letter, according to the inscription, addressed to Alfonsyna Dzieduszycka, née Miączyńska, wife of Włodzimierz. Quote: “You will not, Countess, wish to reject the plea of a former [land] citizen (…) who lost her estate as well as her two sons at the vengeful hand of the Moscow Tsarist regime in 1864.” The author goes on to state that she is 85 years old and lives at 5 Żulińskiego Street. A rare example of a letter from a Polish patriot, the mother of fallen insurgents;
