The banknote comes from a limited run of the “experimental” HM series, with a denomination of 20 zlotych from 1948, where the serial number range starting with the digits 9701... and 9702..., polymer-enriched paper was used as the substrate to increase the paper’s durability and thus slow the wear and tear of the banknotes in circulation. As a result, the banknotes have an intense cream-colored hue.
An attractive piece, confirmed by a high PCGS grading score, with a PPQ notation attesting to the exceptional quality of the paper.
