1939 50 złotych SPECIMEN banknote, from the so-called “emigration issue,” printed by ABNCo, New York.
The banknote features a diagonal "SPECIMEN " overprint on the obverse only . The serial number consists of five zeros: 00000, with three perforations at the signatures of the president, director, and treasurer. Printed on paper with embedded colored confetti, serving as one of the banknote’s anti-counterfeiting features; this is particularly visible on the obverse side of the banknote.
An attractive piece, confirmed by a high PMG grading score, with an EPQ notation attesting to the exceptional quality of the paper—this is the 2nd MAX RATING for this denomination in the PMG registry.
