Tamara de Lempicka, an art déco icon, was one of the most recognizable painters of the 20th century, combining influences from Cubism, Neoclassicism and Modernist portraiture. Her figures exude elegance, sensuality and monumentality of form. The featured print comes from a collector's edition inspired by one of her most famous motifs - a female figure immersed in reading, shown in the artist's characteristic sculptural chiaroscuro modeling.
Provenance: collector's edition, Western Europe
