Biography
Monstfur, as an art project, was established in 2006 by Bartłomiej Stypka and Łukasz Gawron. The authors did not sign their works - from the beginning of the cooperation a virtual character was created - Monstfur, which is a combination of the word "monster" and "potfur". The duo's primary means of expression was the stencil - a thousands-year-old graphic technique, which in the group's creations met modern aerosol paint technology. Monstfur officially ended its activities in 2020.
