Biography
An artist from Gdańsk, she paints primarily with acrylics and oils on canvas, using her own mixed technique. She is drawn to both abstraction and realism, and often combines the two. Circles, triangles, and squares are elements that always appear on her canvases. Study abroad programs in Spain and England, as well as numerous trips throughout Southern Europe, have had a significant influence on the color palette of her works, making them more intense and vibrant. Her paintings reveal inspiration from Middle Eastern culture, particularly in terms of architecture, hence the visible fine ornaments and elements associated with applied arts. Often, the starting point for creating a painting is photographs she takes herself. She mainly photographs landscapes, architecture, people, and nature. More specifically, she captures the structures of plants, trees, rocks, etc.—often at a microscopic level—and then transforms them into geometric forms. The artist enjoys experimenting with shapes, various painting techniques, textures, and objects. She often complements her abstract paintings with original Swarovski crystals, amber, glass, resin, metal flakes, natural minerals, and so on. She has developed her own style, which is a synthesis of her experiences, travels, interests, and emotions. She also paints series on themes such as landscapes, cities, and women, incorporating numerous geometric elements. “I create in such a way that the painting is not merely a decorative element, but also permeates the viewer’s personal space, forming a close connection with them. She leaves a part of herself—her energy—in her paintings. She wants her works to be hypnotically captivating, to evoke positive emotions, and to open the viewer’s mind and heart.“Her works adorn spaces in private collections in Poland and abroad, including Spain, England, Morocco, Switzerland, and Germany.”
