Teart Polski in Katowice - currently the Stanislaw Wyspianski Silesian Theater in Katowice is the largest dramatic stage in Upper Silesia. It has existed since 1907, first as Stadtheater, since 1922 as Teatr Polski, and since 1945 under its current name.

In addition, added to the photo are photocopies of pages 1 and 2 - "Tygodnik - Nowiny Muzyczne i Teatralne. No. 4-5. dated December 20, 1929, where there is infromation about the Warsaw Philharmonic.

In the background one can see two posters relamming the opera"Jewess", which was in the repertoire of the Theater in the season 1930/1931.
